Running the business out of the house became difficult as my family grew and my kids got older. It was time to move our preview's to an actual location. We first rented a small, second story space in Hammonton's artist studio building. It seemed like the perfect place for us to host our bridal previews opposed to having them in our homes! Taffeta quickly outgrew this 12x12, second story space. I signed a lease on the cutest little storefront on 8 S Second St. It was previously a barber shop for over 40 years. With a ton of help from ALL my family and friends, our boutique/salon came together perfectly.

The Boutique
My dad built our shelving out of wood from my great grandfather's house and we ripped up five layers of old flooring to get to an original hardwood we refinished. My Mom mom makes jewelry she proudly displays in our shop today, and so much more. We saved the original gumball machine (was blue and now painted gold) for good luck! Check out some before and after pictures of our salon renovations during the process!
